Lorain defeated Madison in two exciting games with the scores of 25-12 and 28-26. Lorain’s final record is 10-1.

Head Coach Cheryl Johnston and Assistant Coach Christa Widman said every player served an important role on the team, and contributed to help the Bulldogs win during the tournament and regular season. During the season, the players had to learn strategies such as how to cover when a teammate blocks the ball and how to be fluid on the court. The players watched high school and college volleyball games to encourage and inspire them. Both coaches agree that practices were challenging and many life lessons were taught. However, the players fought to the end and demonstrated great teamwork and sportsmanship, which resulted in a winning season!
